Correct answer
DA and C only

Step-by-step explanation

A. Ammonium salts produce atmospheric haze (aerosol of fine particles).

B. Ozone is produced by 3 atoms of oxygen. Some of the molecules in the atmosphere break due to sunlight and oxygen atoms are released. The oxygen atoms then react with other oxygen molecules to form ozone. The overall reaction is

O2 UV O + O

O + O2  O3

C. Polychlorinated biphenyls have the number of applications including their use as cleansing solvents.

D. 'Blue baby' syndrome occurs due to the presence of excess nitrate ions and not sulphate ions in water.

From the above statement we concluded that Statement A and C are correct.
