When moisture is added in anhydrus CaCl2 then absorption occurs.

When silica gel is kept in presence of moisture then it get's wet from outside only so it is a example of adsorption.

Option C :

H is always negative for adsorption. As the adsorption proceeds H becomes less and less negative, ultimately becomes equal to TS and G becomes zero.

So, statements (A) and (C) are incorrect.
