Correct answer
14

Step-by-step explanation

Given:

fx=x2+g'1x+g"2

f'x=2x+g'1

f"x=2

Now,

gx=f1x2+xf'x+f"x

gx=f1x2+x2x+g'1+2

gx=f1+2x2+g'1x+2

g'x=2f1x+4x+g'1   ....1

g"x=2f1+4    ...2

Put x=1 in 1, then we get

2f1+4=0

f1=-2

g"2=2f1+4=0

Now,

fx=x2+g'1x+g"2

Put x=1, then we get

f1=1+g'1+g"2

g'1=-3

So,

f'x=2x-3

fx=x2-3x+c

Since, f1=-2c=0

So,

fx=x2-3x

And,

gx=f1x2+xf'x+f"x

gx=-2x2+x2x-3+2

gx=-3x+2

Hence, f4-g4=4+10=14
