Let the area of the region x,y:2x-1yx2-x,0x1 be A. Then 6A+112 is equal to _____ .

Given,

The area of the region x,y:2x-1yx2-x,0x1 be A,

Now solving,

x-x2=2x-1 

x2+x-1=0

x=-1±52

And equating x-x2=1-2x, we get x=3±52

Now plotting the diagram of  y2x-1 and yx2-x,

 

 

Now from diagram, both curve are symmetric about x=12

Hence, area of the bounded region is given by,

A=23-5212x-x2-1-2xdx

A=23-5212-x2+3x-1dx

A=2-x33+32x2-x3-5212

A=55-116

6A+11=55

6A+112=125.
