Given that 

argz-2z+2=π4

Let z = x + iy
argx+iy-2x+iy+2=π4

argx+iy-2x+iy+2x+2-iyx+2-iy=π4

argx2+y2-4+4iy(x+2)2+y2=π4

x2+y2-4+4iy(x+2)2+y2=tanπ4

x2+y2-44y=1

x2+(y-2)2=8    ……….(1)

Equation (1)  represents circle, whose centre (0,2), radius 22.

Minimum distance d=|A C-r|
Given point A(92,2)

=|AC-r|=(92-22)=72

 Square of distance =d2=(72)2=98
