Correct answer
3

Step-by-step explanation

Equation of plane of passing through intersection of planes P1x+4yz+7=0        ......1 and P23x+y+5z8=0      .....2

is P1+λP2=0

x+4yz+7+λ3x+y+5z8=0

3λ+1x+λ+4y+5λ1z+78λ=0     .......3

ax+by+6z15=0               ........4

On comparing 3 and 4,

a3λ+1=bλ+4=65λ1=1578λ

 4248λ=75λ+15

 27λ=27

 λ=1

 a2=b3=1

 a=2, b=-3

 So, equation of plane is  2x3y+6z15=0         ......5

Distance of plane 5 from point 3, 2, -1 is p=666154+9+36=2149=3.
